Fear Street Part One: 1994 kicks off the trilogy in promising fashion, honoring the source material with plenty of retro slasher appeal.

Audience Says

It has more enthusiasm for its throwback setting than actual inspiration, but Fear Street's first installment does just enough to make slasher fans interested in its sequels.

Fear Street Part One: 1994 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Inkoo Kang Washington Post Deena and Sam's romance is a push-pull between two paper-thin characters whose relationship never gains the contours that make you care about its survival. The lore points and witchy nursery rhyme hint at more twisted fun to come. And Janiak’s eye for crisp horror keeps things refreshingly propulsive and infinitely surprising. Sarah F I love this trilogy. The first movie is definitely the weakest of the 3 but it serves as a good set up. Deena is pretty annoying at first and there’s a lot of cheesy lines but I liked the vibe, the soundtrack, the acting, the plot, the twists and the surprises are well done. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Mark M This trilogy is totally worth the watch. Old-school slasher appeal, cool soundtrack and pretty decent storyline. Im a fan. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/23/24 Full Review Aiden H Good for teens who like gore and are just starting out their horror movie watching resume Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/17/24 Full Review Audience Member Gostei muitooo do filme, uns dos melhores de terror para adolescentes como eu, acho muito fofo a Deena se importar tanto com Sam, ela não ia simplesmente querer matar uma pessoa que gosta para se satisfazer, fiquei muito triste pois a Kate e Simon infelizmente morreram, Josh não ficou com alguém que gostava, isso dá pra perceber que ele gostava dela quando escrevia no computador, no final é um plot total, pois a Sam fica possuída e a pessoa que vivenciou algo parecido no acampamento relata que é impossível acabar com isso. Vou assistir o resto da saga ! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/28/24 Full Review Mark O Loved this movie.
